The honest fine print
How the money actually moves.
- Monthly fees accrue for each month a referred account actually paid PlayTFL. Free-trial and comped months don't accrue — when they convert, you start earning.
- The signup bonus is credited when you refer someone and becomes payable after their first real payment — that's our bot-and-fake-signup guard, same as our friend-referral program.
- Payouts run monthly once your balance reaches $25; smaller balances simply roll forward.
- Payouts require a quick Stripe setup (identity + bank) and work in 56 countries — outside the US you're paid in your local currency. Self-referrals and manufactured signups are reversed and end the partnership.

Do I need a PlayTFL account?
No. Partners are separate — join with just your name, email, and a code you pick. You sign in to your dashboard with a one-time email or text code, and stay signed in for a year on your browser.
How is this different from Refer a Friend?
Refer a Friend pays members a one-time account credit. The Partner Program pays CASH — a signup bonus plus a recurring monthly fee for every active member you brought, forever, paid to your bank.
When do I start earning on a referral?
The one-time bonus becomes payable at their first real payment. Monthly fees accrue for every month their account pays PlayTFL — so trial months don't pay, and the month they convert, you're in.
What counts as my referral?
Anyone who signs up through playtfl.com/r/YOURCODE, or types your code in the registration form. Links attribute for 60 days. First partner to refer an account keeps it.
How do payouts work?
Monthly, via Stripe. You'll connect a Stripe account from your dashboard (a few minutes — identity + bank). Once your balance clears the minimum, the month's payout lands automatically — in your local currency if you're outside the US.
I'm not in the US — can I still join?
Yes. Pick your country when you join and Stripe pays you in your local currency. If your country isn't in the list yet, it's a Stripe coverage limit — check back, the list grows.
Can a coach be BOTH a Pro and a partner?
Yes — they're separate rails. Run your coaching business on your Pro account and earn partner income on the players you send with your code.
