About this tournament

## Pickleball Flex Tournament Play on your own schedule, close to home. Join before the deadline, get placed in a division of similar players, play your division matches one weekly round at a time, and the top finishers move on to the playoffs.

## How it works - Sign up before the join deadline. Divisions are drawn by rating so every division is competitive.

- Each weekly round you are paired with someone in your division. The home player (the higher seed) offers match times and a court; the other player picks one. Play within the round window. - Finish all your division matches. The top finishers advance to a knockout playoff, scheduled the same way. - Enter the score after every match; your opponent confirms it.

- Division matches must be finished within the play window (45 days). The playoffs start right after, and the finals are played on a separate schedule. - A new tournament opens every quarter.

## Match format - Every match is best of 3 games: the first player or team to win 2 games wins the match. - Games are played to 11, win by 2.

## Host responsibilities - The host (home player) brings 2 pickleballs to every match. - The host offers the times and the court, and confirms the final time with the opponent in the app.

## Be a good sport - Be courteous and on time. Arrive ready to play. - Make fair line calls. When in doubt, replay the point. Report scores honestly. - Answer match requests promptly. If you cannot make a match, tell your opponent as early as you can and reschedule inside the round window. - Matches have deadlines. If the home player does not offer times, the opponent wins by walkover. If the opponent does not pick a time, the home player wins by walkover.

- If a match is played but no result is reported, it is closed with no winner. No ratings change for walkovers.
